(New) Backpacks
Finally! After extended tests and tweaking we are proud to present our redesigned backpack! It is tested and approved as one of the most comfortable and most practical messenger backpacks out there. The new semi-roll top combines the best of both worlds -- it's waterproof and over-stuffable, but still easy to access. It comes loaded with features and is still completely customizable. We redesigned the Large and added a smaller size. We are working on an XL version, but it won't be available until we get it perfect - so we're keeping the XL system as it was before, and it has its own page here.
Features
- 1000d Cordura exterior. This material is waterproof and extremely abrasion resistant. You pick the one of our many, many colors
- 18 oz vinyl interior. This is the ultimate in waterproof fabrics. This 100% waterproof liner floats inside of the shell and guarantees that no water will seep in through the seams.
- Three ply construction (three pieces = zero pointy corners)
- Semi roll-top. This ensures a completely waterproof seal on the top that allows you to expand the bag upwards and still keep your stuff dry! We are the only ones that do a semi roll-top with a separate flap. This allows for maximum storage and easy access.
- Deep 3D pockets sit on top of a huge flat pocket that spans across most of the front piece of the bag. Great for papers and books.
- Instead of 1 inch buckles, we use the more durable and easier to release 1.5 inch Duraflex buckles to hold the flap down. Combined with industrial 2 in Velcro (in seven colors) for a solid closure.
- All new strap system!!! We are now using curved straps that conform to your body. That combined with 1.5 in ladder lock buckles make these easy to adjust.
- Built in back pad. This keeps your bag stiff and keeps the contents of a fully loaded back from poking you in the back.
- 6 compression straps (two on each side, and two on the bottom) to keep your pack as big as what’s in it, which keeps the bag's contents from shifting and keeps you comfortable.
- Completely closing interior pocket (12” x 6”).
- Ballistic bottom will stay pretty through any abuse.
- Light holster puts a blinkie where cars will see it.
- Handle for easy non-back-based transport.
